About True North Energy
True North Energy is a Mandurah (Western Australia) based company servicing all states and territories providing National Construction Code (NCC) compliant Energy Assessments for residential properties.
True North Energy has been established for over 20 years and recently changed ownership to David Barham and Sustainaspace, David has been in the building industry for over 20 years and has a lot of experience in dealing with projects of all sizes. Qualified in dealing with residential and commercial projects David expands his experience to the business ensuring that all designs are at the forefront of sustainability.
David is accredited with HERO, FR5, and BERS Pro, and fully qualified to do whole of homes assessments. Having a BA Degree in Sustainable Development and using the latest Design Builder Software ensures the required level of technical and professionalism in assessments and consultation provided is to the highest standard.
David is a member of the accreditation body HERA.

Qualifications
True North Energy only use Nationally Accredited Assessors.
We will assess your plans and help you to achieve a 6 Star rating or higher using the recommended software AccuRate™ / BERS Pro™ / FirstRate™ programs for residential Class 1 & 10a and the Energy Efficiency Part J, Part JV3 for class 2 – 9 and the National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS).
The National Construction Codes require an energy efficiency check sheet to be filled out for local council building applications.
We offer five alternatives which meet these requirements:
